What Kind of Person Was Hitler? A Brief Analysis of the Primary Sources Part 11

Hitler according to Christof Friedrich and Eric Thomson’s The Hitler We Loved and Why, Pub. Date 2004
“At no time in history has a leader, a wielder of power in human terms, not a popular figurehead or celebrity, had such a closeness to his followers, his entire people, as did Adolf Hitler. It can only be called a love relationship” [3].
The German masses used to regularly make a pilgrimage to Hitler’s Berghof [9], and oftentimes, he would come out to greet them and talk to them. Amazingly, even upon war’s end, the German people still made their pilgrimage past Hitler’s Berghof, and the Allies had to work hard to put an end to this. Does anyone in America want to even see George Bush, Jr. in person at all, let alone at his home in Texas? The best he could do was come to find protestors near his ranch.
“We loved him because he stood for the best that was in us, and as Our Leader, demanded of us our best. It was never Hitler’s Germany. It shall always be: Germany’s Hitler, the man loved by his people” [3].
“We loved him because he loved us and our children” [4].
“We loved him because he was a good listener and lived simply” [10]. Even those who hated Hitler had to acknowledge that he did not live an extravagant existence, as do the politicians of today.
“He did not beguile us with ‘cheap’ solutions and ‘easy’ panaceas, for there were none. He did not ‘guarantee’ us a better world. He asked us to fight for one. Fight we did, for we who heard him knew he was right” [11].
One of Hitler’s most incredible speeches was his speech to the German people 10 February 1933, which is currently available on DVD (with English subtitles) through IHF. Mark Weber, M.A. pointed out that during this speech, Hitler donned the Party uniform in order to visibly show the German people that just because he was elected to power now, he was not going to “sell them out,” or abandon them. The speech itself is simply too moving to describe here, so, I will recommend that everyone who may be interested in Hitler as the ‘promise-keeper’ watch this particular speech. Göbbels also delivers an incredible monologue in front of the masses, and his uncanny sarcasm and acute mind do not fail to impress.
“We loved him because he was honest. He did not expound the supposed virtues of democracy and then corrupt the process with purchased votes” [12]. It might be worth reminding everyone that Hitler was democratically elected.
“… we were one people with one choice to make: Whether to live or to die. We chose life. We chose Adolf Hitler” [14]!
“We loved him not because he was a ‘great dictator,’ but because he was a great teacher, a living example of the order he preached” [24]. One can honestly say, in retrospect, that Hitler was certainly not a bigot.
“… If something was filth, he disposed of it as filth with sanitary thoroughness. He did not enshrine the excrescences of sick minds [as does America today]. He was not ashamed to burn shameful enemy propaganda which was aimed at the destruction of our souls” [25].
This passage is in specific reference to the infamous book-burnings at the hands of the Nazi-Sozis. It might be worthy to note that most of the people involved were fed up with garbage contained in so many of the books, and actually wanted to take part in this ceremony. It could be equated to the mass burning of a huge pile of pornographic magazines and our ludicrous “politically correct” textbooks in America today; the textbooks that aim to rework history into allotments of ‘gay history,’ ‘lesbian history,’ ‘African-American’ history, ‘AmerIndian’ history, ‘women’s’ history, while at the same time, dismissing the history of the White Western European male as nothing but raw racism.
“We loved him because he gave us the best roads in the world, envied and emulated by other peoples ever since. Not only roads did he give us, but a cheap, practical car to run on them: The Volkswagen, the People’s Car” [54]. My family has owned, off-and-on, a total of about eight Volkswagens, and needless to say, they were the most reliable cars we ever had. Anyone who has owned one can attest to this, and I am not talking about the new Volkswagens, which are, as Nietzsche would say, a “pale born foil” in comparison, but, the originals that were constructed with precision and pride by purely German talent.
“We loved him because he protected us from religious charlatans—preachers for profit who posed as prophets of God in order to batten like vampires on the trust of simple believers” [29].
“The Christian churches loved him. Over 40% of the SS were Catholics” [65].
“We loved him because he was a deeply spiritual man who did not allow Jews to confuse Christian teachings” [64].
“We loved him because he built churches for us, Christian churches. In the name of Christianity, our enemies [the Allies] destroyed these churches, later bragging about the ‘precision’ of their bombing raids” [66].
One thing that really disgusted Hitler was the way in which the Allies bomb-blasted all of the beautiful German architecture, but most especially, the innocent civilian population. The Allies mass murdered tens of thousands of innocent Japanese civilians as well, in the only nuclear holocaust ever to have happened; ironically, at the hands of the very nation who so ardently advocated/advocates peace and nuclear disarmament, the United States.
Yet, most Americans still continue to deny their collective guilt for this massive crime against humanity. Noam Chomsky and Robert McNamara have both stated that America’s leadership would have been tried and hanged for war crimes at more than one point in history. McNamara was specifically referring to the double atomic mass murder campaign against the Japanese people when he stated this.
“We loved him because he loved life and protected the rights of the unborn” [85]. Hitler never banned abortion, however, he actively denounced abortion, and made sure that endless anti-abortion propaganda was generated, in order to discourage as many women as possible against murdering their own children. Needless to say, his propaganda worked, because he had re-endowed marriage, motherhood, and parenthood as the sacred entities that he believed them to be [85].
“We loved him because he joined us in our holy festivities: [in this case] Christmas 1938” [75]. Most people believe that Hitler did not celebrate Christmas. Well, it is not true, because there are photos of him at Christmas parties and feasts.
“Man’s best friend was not forgotten, even in wartime…. Ration cards [were assigned] for dogs” [74]. Yes, it is true, Hitler, made sure that the German peoples’ animals were fed amply during the war. And, had it not been for the idiocy and barbarity of the Allies, the inmates at the camps would have had enough food, shelter, clothing, medical equipment and material to have survived unto the end of the war.
Hitler according to Count Galeazzo Ciano’s The Ciano Diaries: 1939-1943, ed. By Hugh Gibson, Orig. pub. Date 1945, this edition 1946
“We repeat more or less the same discussion with the Führer. He states that he is very well satisfied with the pact and confirms the fact that Mediterranean policy will be directed by Italy. He takes an interest in Albania a stronghold which will inexorably dominate the Balkans.
I found Hitler very well, quite serene, less aggressive. A little older. His eyes are more deeply wrinkled. He sleeps very little. Always less. And he spends a great part of the night surrounded by collaborators and friends. … It is always Hitler who talks! He can be Führer as much as he likes, but he always repeats himself and bores his guests… [85].
Hitler did have a tendency to talk far too much, and it has been documented by nearly all of his contemporaries that he oftentimes repeated the same topics and themes. He would talk of technical subjects, like automotive engines and architectural schemes a good lot of the time, so, naturally, the women like Frau Göbbels, were probably very tired of hearing about all of this uninteresting stuff.
“Ribbentrop is making a name for himself. In speaking to Signora Attolico, Hitler said: ‘Whatever has been said about him, it must be admitted that he has a swelled head’ [86].
“… Hitler proposes to the English an alliance or something like that. And this was naturally without our knowledge… ” [130].
“Another letter from Hitler to Duce to bring him up to date on his military successes in Norway… he knows that these messages go straight to Mussolini’s heart” [240].
“Hitler complains about the excessive rapidity of the victory, which has not permitted his involving the English forces more effectively to destroy them completely. … He [Hitler] concludes by saying that he intends to obtain a victory in the west as soon as possible, and that he is impelled to do this by hidden threats of American intervention” [emphasis added] [243]. Hitler did not wish to see a long drawn-out war of attrition that would spill torrents of blood in vain, so he acted brutally and swiftly when needs be. He simply could not engage the English as he had wanted to though, which ultimately worked to the detriment of both sides.
As a necessary aside, what is most interesting is this statement by Ciano, which may serve to help people to better understand the Church Question that Hitler had become so frustrated with. Ciano says: “The telegrams sent by the Pope to the rulers of the three invaded states have incensed Mussolini, who would like to curb the Vatican, and is inclined to go to extremes. In these last few days he often repeats that the papacy is a cancer which gnaws at our national life, and that he intends, if necessary, to liquidate this problem once and for all. He added: ‘The Pope need not think that he can seek an alliance with the monarchy because I am ready to blow both of them up to the skies at the same time. The seven cities of Romagna will be sufficient to knock out King and Pope at the same time’” [248].
As evidenced in this passage, Mussolini, too, became utterly fed up with religious authorities and zealots interfering in the rule of military and State affairs. Hitler did not even lash out against the churches or papacy in such vehement rhetoric as this, but, Mussolini’s outright condemnation is completely justifiable and comprehensible when viewed in retrospect.
The Pope has always been a source of serious contention for Monarch and State alike, hence, he was oftentimes hated and challenged. Popes of old had enough power to challenge the Crown, and one Pope (though I cannot recall which it was) had the King’s men forcibly castrated for challenging his papal authority [this was a topic of discussion during one of my World History classes]. So, it is not difficult to understand Hitler and Mussolini’s frustrations with the religious authorities during the War.
“Since Hitler proved to be right on the offensive against the Maginot Line, the military men no longer dare open their mouths. The best of them are with the troops, not those who surround the Führer” [360].
“Edda who visited a camp of our Italian workers, found one who had been wounded on his arm by a brutal guard with a scythe. She told Hitler, who put on a fit of anger and ordered all sorts of arrests and investigations. Which, however, will not change the course of things” [479]. Hitler listened to grievances and did all he could to hold people who violated human rights accountable for their actions, but, by this time (1942) Hitler no longer had sufficient enough control to make much of an impact.
“Hitler is neither nervous nor restless, but he does not underrate the American initiative and he wants to meet it with all resources at his disposal” [541]. Hitler desperately needed the full occupation of France, if only temporarily, in order to confront the Americans with any hope for success. This is what he had proposed to Laval on 11 November 1942.
In Ciano’s final entry, 23 December 1943, he indicts Ribbentrop as some kind of war-hungry lunatic and Hitler as the Chief-gone-mad. But, Ciano is not unjustified in his accusations, because he did not have a full grasp and comprehension of what the War was all about.
Hitler could not simply cut his losses and run when Stalin was hell-bent on razing Western Europe, only to have it resurrected as the new Bolshevist-Communist hegemonistic stronghold of the world. Had that come to pass, suffice it to say, America, and possibly even Japan, would no longer exist, at least, as they exist today. They too, would have been at least attacked, if not bolshevized, like modern China.
I do not know about you, but I do not wish to live under a Jewish-led or instigated anti-human, anti-labor, totalitarian regime that orders me when I can go to bed and what I can view on my TV. Unfortunately, that is where Canada is at and where America is headed… primarily because of Jewish power.
Hitler had to fight this Jewish rabble with relentless and steadfast courage and force because he knew that even the catastrophic results (for the future of Europe) of the War were preferable to the bolshevization of all of Europe. Look at Russia today, and look at Europe today. Hitler was right. Communism leaves a hellish legacy and that fact cannot be refuted.
Furthermore, look at America today; another Jewish-led regime that willingly chooses when and where it will wage its next war of material domination. The Jewish-led regime of the Soviet Union did this same thing, and used the Russian people as the tool of their power-play in Europe.
Hitler actually did win the war, because the Jewish terror was never able to fulfill its Old Testament prophecy of “world domination,” as had been promised to them by their Father of Lies. So, none of Hitler’s or Germany's efforts were in vain because Europe is much better off than Russia, and even America, today. Europeans are fortunate for their inheritance, and, as we Americans begin embarking on the neo-Conservative world order, hopefully Europeans will be sharp enough to draw lessons from their history and fight against this treachery if needs be in future.

“Winston Churchill… was sympathetic to Hitler until he realized that the Nazis were a threat to the British power [hegemony]” [23]. Interesting how Churchill became an instant back-stabber if Great Britain’s world hegemon status went checked by another power. He had no right to interfere in Europe’s affairs.
“… we for our part proclaimed a boycott against German goods… And all this was done according to the “Jewish tradition”: without a concentration of forces and without unity of command, as a sort of guerilla war on the part of the Jewish people against the Hitler regime…” [57]. And people still honestly believe that Hitler persecuted Jews just for sheer amusement; just to exercise needless discrimination because he “felt like it.”
“… Vladeck attacks the Transfer Agreement (Havora), saying that with the Agreement we are allying ourselves with the Hitler Government. Has not the Joint Distribution Committee, of whose executive Vladeck is a member, sent $1,000,000 into Germany to help the German Jews” [91]? Hitler was absolutely willing to work on assisting Jews with emigration, and for Jews to claim otherwise, well, that can be utterly refuted with their own documentation and newspapers during the 1930s-40s era, as well as official German documentation.
“Apart from his fame as an orator and leader, Dr. Prinz has also enriched German Jewish scholarship, and was the author of the first political book, We Jews, written by a Jew under the Hitler regime. He has recently settled in the United States” [98].
This passage tells us a few things about Hitler that usually go unnoticed. First of all, that Hitler allowed Jews to write and publish books while he was in power, thus contributing their piece to the overall Nazi-Sozi German culture.
Secondly, it shows us that Jews were not unduly discriminated against, or barred from earning a living, as they always claim, under Hitler. The discrimination did not begin to get violent until Jews began boycotting, protesting, spying, and denouncing. Hitler was patient, but not a fool.
Furthermore, it also shows us that Hitler allowed Jews to leave Germany until it became too much of a security risk during the war years. Security was the main reason why Jews were interned in camps, just as Japanese were interned in America, Americans in Japan, etc.
“Anyway the first step was taken and 318 persons were released. They were the first organized group [of Jews], not only from the small group in Bergen-Belsen, but from the great mass of Jewry [allegedly] languishing under Hitler’s yoke, to cross the border of a neutral state, before the eyes of the world” [249]. Hitler had ordered that groups of Jews be set free on numerous occasions.
Even though this hate-filled book was written by a Marxist-Communist American Jew, it still has some very valuable information contained within its covers. It actually serves to dispel the many fabrications of the alleged Holocaust much more so than it serves to support any of the insubstantial claims (of the alleged Holocaust) by “eyewitnesses.” Brenner infers and assumes far too much, and he offers nothing new or enlightening, but rather, confirms the fact that there is no Führer Order, etc.
Hitler according to the Jew Theodore Kaufman’s Germany Must Perish!, Orig. pub. Date 1941, this edition 1999
“Hitler is no more to be blamed for this German war than was the Kaiser for the last one. Nor Bismarck before the Kaiser. … And there is one, and only one, such Total Penalty:
Germany must perish forever! In fact—not in fancy” [5-6]!
Needless to say, this little tract of raw hatred and racism incited Hitler so much so, that he finally snapped, and demanded—it was suggested to him—that Jews be forced to brandish the yellow Star of David.
“In searching through these original papers, one is struck by the realization that Mein Kampf is nothing more than a clumsily-written hodge-podge collection of the writings, opinions and teachings contained in those records and expounded by Germans years before Adolf Schickelgruber was born! As we shall see later, even Hitler’s much-publicized mystic prophecies, and his time-tables of conquests are merely reprints of those published, too, long before his time” [20].
Hitler pulled much from the Enlightened German philosophes, especially the völkisch-nationalist ones. He also greatly admired Jesus Christ and Arthur Schopenhauer, and read and quoted both of them often.
“If Hitler was able to make such rapid strides in resurrecting again… Germanism, it was only because the German people, long before his birth, had already become completely instilled with each and every principle and precept, with every yearning and desire which he himself, later, came merely to express and advocate. … Hitler is merely the agent decanting the [ ] fluid from its bottle, which is the German war-soul, into the jug that is world humanity” [20].
Kaufman, like Daniel Goldhagen [Jew] after him, went about indicting the entire German nation for Hitler’s alleged “war-mongering” character. He goes so far as to assert that this is an inherent flaw in the German psyche; hence, Germans needed to be exterminated and rendered landless. He advocated mass sterilization of Germans, mass killing of many Germans, and the partitioning of the state of Germany, in order to eradicate the German race from the earth. The only retaliation that Hitler conjured up was to issue an order declaring that all Jews wear their own religio-ethnic symbol, the Star of David. What an horrific man!
Hitler according to Uniting Danzig with Germany, Reprint of original speech given in Danzig,19 September 1939, pub. Date unknown
“I do not intend to speak about the injustices of Versailles. Perhaps the worst thing in the lives of the nations is not so much the injustice, but the senselessness, the folly, and the utter stupidity with which in those days a peace was imposed upon the world, that completely disregarded all historical, economic, national and political facts” [4]. Actually, as a matter of fact, Jews played a predominant role in the creation and application of the Versailles Death Warrant.
“The Poles, who were not responsible for the introduction of this culture, were not even able to preserve it. It has become evident once more that only those who are themselves gifted with creative power are capable of sustained and genuine cultural achievement. Another fifty years of Polish rule would have sufficed to reduce once more to barbarism these districts which Germans by their painstaking efforts and zeal had redeemed from a state of savagery” [5].
Nobody likes to hear their people being criticized, but, facts are facts; the Poles just did not have the same inherent socio-cultural gifts that the Germans had. This is not necessarily a negative thing, though.
Hitler realized and understood that certain peoples were better suited to rule, whereas certain other peoples were better adapted to be ruled. This is not racist thinking, it is honesty and reality.
I myself have a lot of Polish blood, but, I am willing to accept that my German blood has probably contributed to my intelligence and creativity, whereas my Polish blood has made me an extremely hard worker. Hitler viewed the Poles as ideal farmers and blue collar-type laborers, suited to work the land; but, he also wanted them to embark on the process of Germanization by intermarrying with Germans. He believed that it would improve upon them as a people.
His attitude towards the Poles and Slavs might best be equated to the way early colonial Americans felt about AmerIndians after the two peoples had grown accustomed to one another. Not all colonial Americans wished to “destroy” AmerIndians, and many colonial Americans intermarried with them. It is essentially the same idea.
“I, on the other hand, was on top of that, was prepared to guarantee the existing frontiers, hardly bearable as they were, and finally to let Poland participate in guaranteeing the safety of Slovakia. I cannot imagine what a state the Polish Government was in when it rejected these proposals. I do know, however, that untold millions of Germans gave a sigh of relief because they were of the opinion that in making those proposals I had gone too far.
Poland’s reply was to order the first mobilization, immediately followed by ferocious terrorism. My request to the then Polish Foreign Minister to visit me in Berlin in order to discuss this question with me once more was rejected. Instead of coming to Berlin, he went to London” [8]!
Hitler really had tried to get Poland to reason with him, as Danzig was rightfully Germany’s land but, they refused; hence, they paid a heavy price for this blunder.
“We are simply fighting for our existence. We do not believe the lies of those foolish propagandists who would make us believe that the war is aimed at a regime. Just imagine anyone saying: A country is ruled by someone who does not suit us; well then, let us go to war and fight for three years. … I wonder what they would say if we had ever declared:—The actual regime in France or England does not suit us and therefore we shall start a war!—What an appalling lack of conscience! And for that reason millions of men are driven to their death” [19-20]!
Ironically, this is exactly what America had done—and subsequently has done, ever since—in World War I, World War II, Korea, Iran (the Shah), China (by backing Chiang Kaishek against Mao Zedong) Vietnam, Cuba (Bay of Pigs), Central America((?) by backing the Sandanistas), Iraq (twice now), and now, possibly Iran (again). Hitler did not go to war, justifying it by lying, i.e., WMD, because he wished to depose rulers; he went to war to stop the bolshevization of Europe. He went to war in the name of survival, not for material gain or oil supplies, and not based upon false accusations.
